Richard Mundinger, CFA
Principal & Portfolio Manager
Richard brings over three decades of investment management experience to serving clients for their planning and investing needs. Prior to joining RMH, Richard was a Principal at Sunrise Capital Management, LLC where he developed an innovative “total return” investment strategy to smooth out portfolio volatility and enhance returns. This total return philosophy is the basis behind RMH’s approach to investment management. Richard also held institutional equity and derivatives positions for several investment firms in Canada.
Mr. Mundinger has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and has written a variety of published articles on topics such as hedging concentrated stock positions, investment policy statements and asset allocation strategies. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.
When not advising investors, Richard enjoys spending time with his family, wife Kathy and children Clay and Erica, playing golf, biking, training with kettlebells, and traveling. Richard is an active member of the Tucson community, previously served as the chair for the Community Foundation of Southern Arizona new campus, was a member of the Board of Trustees and services on the finance and investment committees, as well as Rotary International, and CFA Society Tucson.
